1) Get your sword in the Lost Woods near the Stalfos. It will be in the hole nearby. Slingshot at Deku Tree.

2) Talk to Zelda, go to Goron City.

​

3) Darunia tells you that there are no bomb flowers. Gives Goron bracelet. Have to go forward in time to get the bomb bag in Dampe's grave. I have the grave covered with a boulder so you must get the bracelet before coming here to pick up the bomb flower as adult Link is checked for the bracelet too.

​

4) Go back in time to open Dodongo's Cavern and get boomerang behind the lavafall in the Lizalfos room. Get Ruby.

​

5) Find out the letter isn't there at Lake Hylia, talk to the Zoras there and find out the bottle has been washed away towards the water temple entrance. Zoras mention the scientist might have something to help you. When speaking with him, he mentions that he's looking for a rare plant for his garden outside. You then go and plant a bean there, but have to wait for it to grow.

    

6) Go back to temple of time and go adult.

 

7) Back to Lake Hylia. If you were observant, you'll notice the sign outside the house says that he's looking for someone brave to get rid of the monsters around his house. Tektites have invaded that part of the map, and when you kill them, a chest spawns on top of his house. Use the bean plant to get up there and get the iron boots.

8) Go and talk to Ruto in the water temple, she will lead you to the bottle with letter in the room.

 

9) Go back in time and show letter so the King will move. Get fish in the bottle and open up Jabu.

 

10) Inside Jabu you'll find hookshot, finish temple as normal, get zora's sapphire.

11) Learn song of time from Ocarina of Time/Zelda.

12) You now have the ability to do the temples as an adult.  Most people will want to go for Forest Temple, but the way will be blocked by a rusted switch that you must hit with a hammer. So following that train of thought, they will go to fire temple. Darunia will mention the now-cursed Hammer has been moved to Bottom of the well.

 

13) Go to windmill and learn song. Go back in time, do bottom of the well, where you will then gain the hammer-which will hurt young Link due to the cursed nature of it. But young Link is perfectly capable of using it. Have fun.​

14) Go forward in time and finish out the Fire Temple. You will get the Bow.

​

15) Go to forest then and finish the dungeon out and get Ice arrows. Just because. You can now learn prelude of light (finally!)​​

​

16) Now, to actually complete the water Temple, you'll need the Zora tunic, which is now stylishly purple. Go to the Ice Cavern, and find there isn't any Blue Fire there. You will find the Lens of Truth in there though at the end.

17) Hints will point you to buy blue fire from shop in Kakariko for 300 rupees. Need 30 skulltullas to get giant's wallet.

​

18) Water temple can then be completed after you thaw King Zora. You'll get longshot as normal in that temple.

​

19) Get access to Spirit Temple, get the Silver Gauntlets and Mirror Shield here.

​

20) Hover Boots are in the Gerudo Training ground.​
