What runners need to know.

This game specifically checks for all six Medallions. No more just Shadow/Spirit for the Light Arrow Cutscene.

Now, while there is a way you can skip cutscenes in this game, I did not intend this to be so. I thought I had removed all the debug options, but I'm afraid that slipped through. As a result, if you skip the Light Medallion cutscene, you WILL NOT GET IT, and therefore your game will not be completable without other glitches and/or codes you use. Don't skip song cutscenes unless you know that you will get the song. It might differ.

To fix pause lag, open up your emulator's Gameshark section and input: 8022414B 0002

You do not learn Serenade of Water or get the Silver Scale in this mod. However, you can get Golden Scale with regular method, or the glitch method.

There is sometimes graphical fog glitches, like an area covered in dense pink/purple/green fog. This is an emulator issue, not a rom issue. To fix this though, you can go to Kakariko Village, walk to the center tree or warp to the graveyard. This should fix the issue, and you will have to do this every time you turn Adult. Apologies. You can walk through the area normally, however, and is not gamebreaking in any way, so you can deal with the fog that way.

Thanks to Tokyoboi for these instructions.

IF YOU HAVE PROJECT 64 1.7 READ HERE:
I recommend using PJ64 1.7 over 2.1 just because it is a little more stable. But it is not a public release and you would have to find it yourself.
If you have 1.7 use the same instructions below, but for the Graphics Plugin, use Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.4 as it is what I personally use and can confirm to work really well and without crashes.

Directions for PJ2.1:
Download and install Project64 2.1 and download the pre-patched rom for voyager.
Open Project64 2.1 and go to Options > Settings.
Under Plugins, change Video(Graphics) Plugin to: Glide64 For PJ64 2.0.0.1
Go to File > Open Rom and find your Voyager.z64 Rom and open it.
(It should not run at this point, and should just be a black screen, don't panic.)
Go to Options > Settings > Config: THE LEGEND OF ZELDA...
Change Memory Size to 8 MB and UNcheck "Fixed Audio Timing"
Close out of Project64 2.1 and reopen it, then start the rom again.
It should now be able to run and be at a stable 60 V/I per second.
Enjoy~

Fixing Pause Lag

Open the Rom and go to Options > Settings.
Make sure "Hide Advanced Settings" is UNChecked (So it will show advanced settings)
Now go to System > Cheats / Press Ctrl + C
Click the sidebar on the right with the arrow.
Name it anything e.g. "Pause Lag Fix"
Under "Code: <Address><Value> input 8022414B 0002
Then click "Add Cheat"
Then make sure it is checked off and continue playing.

Voyager On-Site Readme (Known Issues)

Worked on by Brynna and Josh Giadrosich. This is a free patch for Zelda: OOT, however, if you distribute it, please give credit where credit is due. You are free to advertize it all you want, but I'd rather there just be one download spot for it.

New music made by AnimatixReels and JamesAndrewHarris, which will be released as a patch later on. ASM and coding help by Sakura, Jason777, sanguinettimods, and To Coool. Logo used in-game was made by Sakura, thank you for your last minute help with importing textures! Thanks to Shadow Fire for text editing help.

Thanks to my testers, bobmario511, metroidkillerx, examolofer, and nijbu for giving me great feedback.

Thank you for downloading The Legend of Zelda: Voyager of Time! This mod concentrates mainly on storyline and route changing, so don't expect TOO much dungeon differences. There are a few new puzzles though, and I hope you enjoy the ones I did put in.

Be sure to check out the video on how to set it up so you can follow step-by-step if you are new to the emulator and mods. There are a few things you might have to download, but it shouldn't take you too long.

1. Setting up Nemu 64

I would suggest using Nemu 64 to play this game, as I've had the best results with the emulator. You can find Nemu64 here, with all the required plugins already installed. Be sure to use the Rice Plugin.

So go to Nemu Settings (Options>Settings), then pick your plugin, and make sure you are set at 8MB (expansion pack) instead of 4MB.

Now, at this point, the game should load for you pretty well, but just to be sure, open the game up, make sure it works. If it runs, good, keep it running, you're almost there.

While the game is running, go to Plugins>Configure Video Plugin and click on General options. Uncheck "Hide Advanced Options" and then go to "Current Game Options". Under the Advanced and Less Useful Options, check TMEM Emulation. Don't mess with anything else unless you know what you're doing. I don't know if this part is entirely needed, but it worked for me.

2. Known Game/ROM Issues

1)Please, dear god, don't forget to get Din's Fire before Zelda Escape. There is a puzzle that should require it, but please get it just in case you find a way past that puzzle. You will not be able to continue normally later on in the game if you don't get it!

2) Serenade of Water is never learned in this hack. Sorry, I know it's annoying, but use Epona, that's what she's there for.

3) You will not be getting Silver Scale in the game. You can play the Diving game all you want though.

4) Grottos don't really work properly--there are a lot that actually lead you to the Razor Sword hole, so there will be an open chest in it. This is remnants of an idea I had to use grotttos as a warping system. Never came about, and never got around to fixing it. Sorry.

5) You might run across random graphical glitches like heavy fog or see-through graphics in an area, or completely black graphics. Do your best to get through it, it'll clear up eventually, or if you know Nocturne, a quick-fix is to warp to a place like the graveyard and the graphical problems should fix up. This shows up on Nemu64, but one of my testers did use Mupen, so try that out, but you might still have the random graphical problems.

6) Sounds sometimes (very rarely) drop from when you play the ocarina, just restart the emulator and it'll come back up.

7) People report that the old Jar room freezes when entering. If it works, great, if it doesn't, it's not important.
